A Floral Paradise for the Palate: Flora Cocktail Bar in Beaverton, Oregon

Tom and I recently learned of this amazing cocktail bar in Beaverton, Oregon. It opened in April, 2022. Our first evening here we decided to make a reservation and we were not disappointed!

Hidden behind a door in Loyal Legion’s Downtown Beaverton Bar, is a winding staircase that leads you to a dimly lit, intimate speakeasy style cocktail bar. Flora Cocktail Bar is a hidden gem that promises an enchanting journey for the senses. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance is a perfect blend of sophistication and botanical charm, setting the stage for an extraordinary cocktail experience.

Flora only offers cocktails and a few small bites, a charcuterie board, bread plate, Olive plate, mixed nuts and Pretzels. One standout aspect of Flora is the attention to detail in the presentation of their cocktails. I decided to have the Paper Dragon cocktail made with a Rye Whiskey, Aperol, House Pomegranate, Grenadine and Lemon. It was an amazing cocktail creation!

Tom had a Flora Fashion, Flora’s version of an old fashion made with Woodford Reserve, Black Fig Demera, and Sour Cherry Bitters. Then he had the Jade Garden cocktail made with Plantation Pineapple, Aveze, Basil & Ginger, Infused Agave, Fever Tree Tonic, and Lime.

You check in at the bar in Loyal Legion’s. You will be escorted through a doorway up a secret stairway to the swanky Flora cocktail bar.
